Me and Silvia were away in Mallorca studying with Chicho and Juana for a week! A week of non stop Tango from morning till night along with the top professionals from Europe and around the world was incredible, there was even a couple who came all the way from Shanghai. The passion for studying Tango in-depth and taking it further is on the rise around the world. Chicho talked and encouraged everyone to think about how Tango needs to come from within ourselves – our own emotions coming to the surface to express Tango. This is easier said than done with all the complexities of Tango – getting the communication right with our partners for example! But we tried and continue trying 😊

Thank you to the amazing people who helped run all our events seamlessly while we were away. You prove that Amistoso is a community! It was nice to hear that the turnouts were good and you all had a good time. Thank you to everyone who came along and did their bit 🙏

On Friday, 15th September, myself and Silvia will be celebrating our birthdays at Negracha with a little performance and hopefully along with lots of you. Before that, on the 8th September, there is a Special Negracha at Conway Hall. Please come along and support our efforts! Thank you 🙏

NEGRACHA is now open until 3AM and this week we have guest DJ Gustavo Rosas. For those of you who don’t know, Gustavo is from Argentina and usually plays his music from the original Vinyl records! There are other good things happening at the new NEGRACHA too. Please do come along to check it out.

Conway Hall used to be an iconic venue for Tango in London for many years. We are super excited to be taking NEGRACHA to Conway Hall on Friday, the 8th September for a very special evening with performance from Tango World Champions Marcos Roberts and Louise Malucelli too.
